Yaposhka Interior Design

designed the interiors for a 'Yaposhka', a popular Japanese restaurant. Their fundamental design objective was to move away from the typical 'cliché' aesthetic of typical of Japanese restaurants. In doing so, they went for a minimalist style with clean lines and pure forms. The decorative elements are made primarily of natural materials - wood, textiles and lots of live plants — as seen in the desktop organizer, the pots on the shelves, and two hanging lamps.

The interior keeps it simple with a natural colour palette, using the colours of wood and concrete, along with neutral black and white, and a statement pop of colour on a wall panel and in the upholstery of chairs.
