Lapis Keyboard

Tim Zarki designed Lapis Keyboard. Lapis is a low profile mechanical keyboard design whose frame and keys are made from machined acetate, a material traditionally used in eye wear. Lapis features customizable hot-swap mechanical keyboard switches, which can be seen through the translucent acetate. The keycaps are interchangeable, as is the frame which is secured via magnets.

As part of this project, the designer led a mechanical keyboard design collaborative challenge with Renderweekly on Instagram.
