Methods was established in 2016 by designer and maker Joao Carrilho to create leather products that combine traditional techniques with modern mechanics. Methods believes that real luxury is a sharp attention and care for the details and materials. With a background in Graphic Design, Carrilho’s approach to working with leather retains that same attention to detail so common in print production and finishing. The products are not seasonal. Instead, the collections will expand, and evolve naturally in sequential numbers. Collection items are made to order and will be available for commission on the Methods website until the editions run out – an approach that maintains and assures the quality and longevity of every single piece.
