This series showcases beautiful glass design from Prague-based DECHEM Studio, founded by Michaela Tomiskova and Jakub Jandourek. Like our first featured collection by DECHEM, this collection of lights, vases and tableware explores uniquely crafted glassware using traditional Bohemian craft techniques. The first in the collection, Candle Light, is a sleek mobile battery-powered LED candelabrum in red and black glass, polished brass and copper, and stainless steel grips. Its bright colours and unique form make this decorative light stand out as a statement piece. The four-part Antimatter series begins with the Antimatter Table, which makes for another eye-catching modern piece. Its spherical base is made of black glass, with a long and slender center pole and table-top surface made of coated brass. The Antimatter Vase With Bell is a truly one-of-a-kind vase made of an irregular mass of black glass with a smokey bell. The Antimatter Tablelamp, similar in structure to the table, is a minimalist table lamp composed of a large black glass base and titanium coated laboratory glass. The Antimatter Floorlamp is a shorter creation of the above, accompanied by a sanded smokey grey glass shade. The funnel light is a beautifully delicate pendant light made of laboratory glass funnels. The piece, designed for Kavalier Glass, is made of Titanium coated glass, copper coated metal fittings, and a retro bulb.
