Site of the day awarded to Tom Bird, a photographer from the UK. The website was created by Nick O'Reardon. Tom Bird is inspired by everything that is around him through colour, form and texture. Having always taken an interest in design orientated subject matter this prevails in his photography. His personal works transform our accepted perceptions of the quotidian and utilitarian by removing evidence of their functionality. Photographed from uncommon viewpoints and without human presence, each subject is re-contextualised as a space of understated beauty.
